FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Below are our students’ most commonly asked questions about MSL
Who is Madinah Student Life designed for?
Madinah Student Life is suitable for anyone seeking structured Islamic knowledge, from complete beginners to committed students of knowledge. The pathway is progressive, meaning you start where you are and grow systematically.
What makes this programme structured?
Rather than offering isolated courses, Madinah Student Life follows a carefully sequenced curriculum across six levels. Each stage builds upon the previous one to ensure depth in ʿAqīdah, Fiqh, Hadith, Tafsīr, and Sīrah without gaps or fragmentation.
Is the curriculum based on authentic sources?
Yes. All content is grounded in the Qur’an, Sunnah, and the understanding of the early scholars. Classical texts are studied with guided explanation to ensure clarity and balance.
How does progression work?
Students complete one level before moving to the next. As levels advance, the material becomes more text-based and analytical, developing both knowledge and scholarly methodology.
Do I need to know Arabic?
No prior Arabic is required at entry level. Arabic terminology is introduced gradually with explanation, allowing students to build familiarity over time.
How are lessons delivered?
Lessons are delivered through structured online modules. Students can study consistently while revisiting previous material whenever needed.
Is there any assessment?
Each level includes structured checkpoints to ensure understanding before progression. The aim is comprehension and formation, not rushed completion.
Will I receive recognition upon completion?
Students who fulfil the requirements of a level receive formal recognition of completion.
